Holiday Card ~Glittered button berry~

I like customizing buttons and make it unique. The buttons I used for this card are originally just plane clear button. I applied liquid glue to the button and sprinkled lots of red glitter.
Yep, that's it, too easy to make glittered button! :)

Leaves are from stamp set CG363 Poinsettia&Berries, colored in those leaves with distress ink Peeled Paint. I also used one of berries image from the same stamp set to make a background.

And I got new shadow ink "soft granite" the other day and have waited to use it until today,
and I LOVE it! It's really nice grey color, definitely it works well for holiday cards.
So glad I bought this ink. :)

Here is the closer look of the card.

I used two background stamps which are "Music background CG222" and "Happy definition CG269" with my new soft granite ink. When I stamped Happy definition using this ink, I stamped on regular copy paper once, then I stamped to my tag shape because I wanted to see happy definition image with lighter color behind music notes. and I guess it worked? :) hehe

Anyway, thanks for looking at my card! and I am off to make another holiday card. :)

World Card Making Day

I started making 2012 holiday card since last month.
But I made only a few... I have to focus on this more! (I know!)

Anyway here is one of my holiday cards, I made this one on WCMD.

"it's the most WONDERFUL time of the year"
Yes, exactly! my favorite time of the year!

I made poinsettia embellishment using Hero Arts&BasicGrey stamp set CG363.
Stamped flower image onto water color paper with VersaMark and white embossing powder,
and used two distress inks (fired brick, aged mahogany) and perfect pearls. Then I stamped Hero Arts "Old Letter Writing" S4878 with white pigment ink to add some texture,
and put bunch of pearl stones.

Here is the closer look of poinsettia.

Thank you for looking at my project!

Smile

It's almost end of September and I have been enjoy my crafting time.
And one big event is running over at Simon Says Stamp this month called "Stamptember"
I really like this naming because I love stamping!!

Simon Says Stamp is one of my favorite online store and I shop there often.
They ship pretty fast (it's international shipping for me but it takes usually only 5days to ship)
and very reliable, and of course there are lots of stamps!
which is the most important thing for me.

When my package was arrived and I open it, seeing what I got in person is the most exciting and happiest moment! Every time I smile a lot. :)

So this is the card for Simon Says Stamp to celebrate "Stamptember".

Congratulation for 10 years anniversary Simon Says Stamp!

DAZZLING DAY! ~birthday card~

It's time for challenging Hero Arts contest!
I decided to stretch some holiday stamps this time and made a birthday card.

I used Swirl Christmas CL469 and Magical background CL211.
And I chosen "WISHING YOU A DAZZLING DAY!" sentiment from Many birthday message CL611. It's perfectly matching well with those holiday stamps isn't it? :)

I love Hero Arts inks too! They are all great...
I picked up soft blossom shadow ink, Iris chalk ink for stars, and Cup O' Joe mid-tone ink for magical background. I thought it's still something missing for my background image... so I added Newspaper background too and applied two distress ink colors (Vintage Photo, Antique Linen)  to finish up my background.

Thank for looking my card! :)

It's a birthday parade!

It's time for challenging an another A Blog Named Hero challenge!
This time is "Freestyle"!! which means I can make anything I want!

http://www.ablognamedhero.blogspot.jp/2012/08/challenge-9-freestyle.html

So I made birthday card which I use the most throughout the year.
I picked up "It's A Parade" stamp to celebrate birthday and I found the perfect sentiment for this stamp. It's perfect matching I think! ;)

And when I was watching Olympic swimming, one particular national flag caught my eyes!
Which country??? It's USA! and I totally got inspired!! :)

By the way my favorite swimming Olympian is Ryan Lochet♥

I stamped image on white cardstock with pink and yellow ink and colored around the edges with the same inks. Some of the pink roses are white embossed.
