It's been a while!

Okay, so... it's been a while!!! 😄 I have been away from my blog for ages but that doesn't mean I haven't made any cards! I totally forgot how to blog! 😅 But I will do my best.

I recently participated in Pinkfresh Studio's monthly challenge.
The challenge has ended already but here is the link you can see the details:
https://www.pinkfreshstudio.com/blogs/card-making-challenges/october-2020-challenge

Here is my take...

I used “Our Home to Yours” stamp set to create landscape of autumn.
I picked the sentiment from “Sending Love and Hugs” stamp set. I sketched curve on a piece of paper and cut it out. I placed it on my white card stock, then applied soft beige ink. Then when I stamp houses and trees I used cut out curve again to mask off landscape scene.

I looove this stamp set so much! 💕 I want to create more cards with this.

Just for her

Hero Arts April cahllenge "Just for her"
I made a card for my best friend. I will see her next week! yay! I'm so excited!
 ( I haven't seen her for ages!)

Here is my card. :)

I used Night Flower F5720 to make background flower pattern and layered flower embellishment.
One stamp two ways! I thought I can use this stamp in multiple ways. (and I was right!)

Inks I used for this card are Hero Arts shadow ink soft sand (AF144), distress ink aged mahogany/fired brick/spum sugar.

The sentiment originally comes two lines with frame (CL596/Herats&Flowers) but I changed to one line to fit my card design. (pretty happy with the result!)

Thank you for looking and stopping by! :)

Love&Lace Part2

Here is the second Love&Lace themed card.

Ended up more masculine look this time... I guess! I wasn't planning to make a masculine card at the beginning but I felt like making more masculine, a bit of vintage look card somehow after choosing pattern paper. I'm not gonna tell you I incorporated the patterned paper of Christmas for this card... :x shhhhhh! haha
It's from Simple Stories "25 Days Of Christmas" came out 2011 I think...

I cut out Eiffel tower image from "Newspaper Eiffel Tower" (CG417) and embellished with lots of stones. Customized sentiment "FOREVER LOVE". Originally the sentiment is "FRIENDS FOREVER" but I used only "FOREVER" and added "love" below it.
I was going to stamp "Love" with only black ink but wanted to change it to red... then I stamped it again with red ink. I didn't meant to use this piece but why not? it looked like shadow stamping for me a bit, so I decided to use it in the end! :D

Anyway, thank you so much for visiting my page!

This card is submitted to Hero Arts February contest.

Love&Lace

I can't miss these theme. "Love and Lace"
LOVE lacy stuff!
I made this card for entering Hero Arts February contest.

Here is what I made...

I tried make it simple as much as possible. Hope it worked!
I stamped 3 different fonts of "XOXO". (CL586 XO from Hero Arts)
And I used three different colors of distress ink. ( aged mahogany, victorian velvet, fired brick)
I stamped xoxo a couple of times using stamp magic to make it crisp image.

Heart stamp is from CL596 Pattern Hearts&Flowers set. (Hero Arts/BasicGrey)
Added white lace ribbon, some cute red heart shaped jewel stones and twines.
The one which was embellished over the white lace is grosgrain ribbon.

Thank you for looking at my project!

Holiday Card ~Glittered button berry~

I like customizing buttons and make it unique. The buttons I used for this card are originally just plane clear button. I applied liquid glue to the button and sprinkled lots of red glitter.
Yep, that's it, too easy to make glittered button! :)

Leaves are from stamp set CG363 Poinsettia&Berries, colored in those leaves with distress ink Peeled Paint. I also used one of berries image from the same stamp set to make a background.

And I got new shadow ink "soft granite" the other day and have waited to use it until today,
and I LOVE it! It's really nice grey color, definitely it works well for holiday cards.
So glad I bought this ink. :)

Here is the closer look of the card.

I used two background stamps which are "Music background CG222" and "Happy definition CG269" with my new soft granite ink. When I stamped Happy definition using this ink, I stamped on regular copy paper once, then I stamped to my tag shape because I wanted to see happy definition image with lighter color behind music notes. and I guess it worked? :) hehe

Anyway, thanks for looking at my card! and I am off to make another holiday card. :)

World Card Making Day

I started making 2012 holiday card since last month.
But I made only a few... I have to focus on this more! (I know!)

Anyway here is one of my holiday cards, I made this one on WCMD.

"it's the most WONDERFUL time of the year"
Yes, exactly! my favorite time of the year!

I made poinsettia embellishment using Hero Arts&BasicGrey stamp set CG363.
Stamped flower image onto water color paper with VersaMark and white embossing powder,
and used two distress inks (fired brick, aged mahogany) and perfect pearls. Then I stamped Hero Arts "Old Letter Writing" S4878 with white pigment ink to add some texture,
and put bunch of pearl stones.

Here is the closer look of poinsettia.

Thank you for looking at my project!

Smile

It's almost end of September and I have been enjoy my crafting time.
And one big event is running over at Simon Says Stamp this month called "Stamptember"
I really like this naming because I love stamping!!

Simon Says Stamp is one of my favorite online store and I shop there often.
They ship pretty fast (it's international shipping for me but it takes usually only 5days to ship)
and very reliable, and of course there are lots of stamps!
which is the most important thing for me.

When my package was arrived and I open it, seeing what I got in person is the most exciting and happiest moment! Every time I smile a lot. :)

So this is the card for Simon Says Stamp to celebrate "Stamptember".

Congratulation for 10 years anniversary Simon Says Stamp!

And thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my project on your blog.
